It is lined with black polished cotton and comes with the Eagle I buttons sewn on.
The button holes are hand sewn. The shoulders are padded as per the original.
It has working cuffs with 3 small eagle i buttons per sleeve.
They have 3 exterior pockets and one inside left breast pocket.

JUNIOR OFFICERS FROCK COAT
Union Junior officers single breasted frock coat. Regulations specified that junior officers would wear single breasted frock coats.
For the most part the Union Junior officers complied with this regulation,
Although I can show you a few exceptions.
Our single breasted frock is made from 100% federal blue wool,
it has a 9 button front with 2 buttons on each cuff and 3 on the each side in the rear. One inner pocket over left breast and one hidden in the tail. Lined with black polished cotton or checked cotton as per many of the originals. It comes lined to the waist or can be fully lined for a small fee.
Remember, officers had there own coats made by tailors so you can custom order your coat to be as plain as you like or add your own custom touch.
