SPURS FOR YOUR BOOTS
Putting spurs on your boots is really very simple. As you can see in the photo the spur strap simply feeds through the slots that are in each side of the spur. Then adjust the strap to the proper length needed and slip onto your boot with the strap going under your heel. That's pretty simple.
We have 3 types of spurs, The Eagle Head Spurs for officers, the Richmond Style Spur which has a flat body (as seen in the photo above right) and the typical Union style spur which had a more common rounded body.

WW II G.I. DOUBLE BUCKLE BOOTS
So many of our customers are doing other time periods we thought we could help with some of those hard to find items.
Here's your chance to get a great deal on a brand new pair of Reproduction World War 2 Government Issue Double Buckle Boots. I know some of you have been on a waiting list with other companies for a year or more and at a higher price. Like my Ol' Granddaddy used to say, "Boy, don't be a sap!" You don't have wait any more. These boots are painstakingly designed to be an exact copy or the originals. Everything right down to the last detail is a perfect match including the sole design. This is one tough pair of boots. You can expect to get years of tough field service out of these babies. They come with a full one year warranty that covers everything except abuse or fire damage. (You gotta grease em once in a while) It takes a good day to break them in but I didn't even wet mine. I just strapped em on and went hiking. In no time flat they were as comfortable as old sneakers.
I'm sure you've already figured out that the boot in the photo left, far left, is an original boot. And the boot in photo left, on the right is one of our repro's that I have been wearing for a year.
The boots in photo right are a brand new pair of our boots. This is what yours will look like when you receive them.
If you would like to compare our boots to an unissued pair of originals, just look in Shelby Stanton's book "U.S. Army Uniforms Of World War II" on page 252, middle photo. According to Mr. Stanton every G.I. in Europe had been issued this boot before the end of July 1944.
You can't tell it from my old worn out original boot but the color is a perfect match (when the boot was new that is). Our new repro is made with the ruff side out just like the original. It is polished down so it doesn't show well in the "new boots" photo but it is. If you have big fat calves these may not buckle, the originals are 12 inches wide at the top when buckled in the last hole. My boots are a little larger at the top for us more modern (fatter) types. About 13 1/2 inches. and like all blockade runner brand boots and shoes they come with a one year warranty. The best in the game!
I have been wearing my pair for almost 2 years now and I'm here to tell you this is one comfortable, well built boot. I'm sure you'll think so too.

If you've seen the movie "Cold Mountain" then you may have seen Nicole Kidman wearing a pair of Blockade Runner Ladies Boots.
